I don’t drink it but I’ve been trained to pour it!

We started today a little later. Allowed for some sleep, slow moving and wait time for the red tourist bus- which we were using as our taxi. We had 10:45 tickets for the gaol.  Tour size was pretty good. Under 20 people. Really well done tour. Got to see and learn about the history of the gaol, especially related to some of the leaders of the resistance. It was built for 100. During the height of the potato famine there were 9000 people over the course of the year. People would commit crimes so they could be take to the gaol. There they were required by law to be fed. The gaol housed everyone from men, women to children.

Then back to the red bus and we headed to the Guinness Storehouse. You may be thinking what a loss for a nondrinker to be going there. I actually enjoyed it (the tour not the beer- I tried it). First- that place is making BANK. At 25€ a head with people after people pouring in, wow. Good for them. Anyways I thought the place was really laid out well, informative and interesting. I also got a certificate stating I successfully poured a pint!  So I may not drink it but I can pour it! We were there for quite some time without even realizing.

Back to the red bus and we rode it for a bit to see some views. We got off near Grafton Street known for its shopping and we helped out the local economy. Another great day- with NO rain. Maybe we got some luck at the leprechaun museum.

After tasting...

Double the dessert cuz I wasn’t sure about the stew....it was a good plan!

Some other girls had gelato for dinner but I opted for a chicken wrap from McDonald’s.

New shoes for you new shoes for you...for you....for you...
