The Struggle is real people........

Had an uneventful flight over (wish it was a little more eventful in the sleeping department).  Didn't enjoy being monkey in the middle in the row of 3 but I'm flying to Europe so get over it right? Since we left at 2:30pm when we arrived in Frankfurt it was only 5:55am.  After our connecting flight we landed in Milan, Italy around 8:45.  Then we had a whole day ahead of us.  The struggle is real people.......had a few really serious head nodding moments on the bus ride and it was a pretty ride from Lake Como to Bellagio.  Too bad I only enjoyed it a little.  In Lake Como we saw the cathedral.  It was opulent and very dark inside.  Then we took the venicular up to get a great view of the lake from above.  Couldn't quite get the panoramic pictures like advertised because of the tree growth but it was very pretty.  Down we went to a pizza lunch and then our bus ride to Bellagio. It is quite the bustling place.  Our hotel is right across from the lake.  After a little rest in our room (so that I could put 2 feet in front of the other) we explored the town around our hotel a little.  You have to walk up some impressive stairways to get to a couple main passages that were lined with shops and restaurants.  After some window shopping and lasagna dinner, we headed back to the hotel.  I barely managed a shower before I was out.  As I awake this morning to the sound of rain, I am well rested and looking forward to another Italian day!   Still trying to get in the habit of taking photos w/my good camera and with my phone, so not all these phone photos are the best......
