Just a peek at Munich

Here's just a few things from our walk around Munich today.  Shops and some other things are closed because it's Sunday. That also made it difficult to go into some of the churches.  We got our first taste of public transportation and I just have to remember the s trains and u trains are different.  We did get to see and hear the big glockenspiel. I don't know that I've ever seen it go off before. We also went to a couple of small museums after lunch. We grabbed a quick bite from the Viktualienmarkt (outdoor market).  Unfortunately there was only 2 stands open with food because it was Sunday. Fortunately there were some good choices.   Wish I liked beer, I could be having my fill for the same cost as a coke.  Tonight we go to hear a chamber orchestra concert after having dinner at the Spaten Brewerey Restaurant. Too bad I can't get my coke in the large beer stein.  I may need it to help me stay awake :)
