The last leg of the trip began in the last country of the trip, of course with another currency. So, this is the 7th country (not too shabby) and the 4th currency. We didn't need to leave the hotel until 10, so we slept a little later and had a leisurely breakfast. At the airport I found another reason to love Amsterdam- they had a tech store with a charger for my keyboard! Yeah Dutchies! So now I am comfortably typing on the keyboard instead of pecking at the one on the Ipad. My other tech dilema is abouto be solved also because early tomorrow (really early) we pick up the others from the airport and my friend's camera arrives thanks to my friend Nancy who is bringing it over (THANK YOU Julie for letting me borrow !) Since my tech problems were looking up, I decided to try my camera ONE MORE TIME....but no luck : ) That would have been toooo much to ask for.
Tonight I had dinner at a pub with the 3 people I've been traveling with plus 3 others who arrvied and will be traveling with us on this 2nd group trip. I had lasagna- I know very British of me : ) If you know me, you know I can eat Italian anyday/everday. I should have done a photo collection entitled "Pasta through Europe" : )
The last leg of the trip is through Wales, England and Scotland. Really looking forward to seeing everything here. Time to watch World Cup (you can't help but get caught up in it- go Dutchies!
Not many pics today because of travel.....
The Manchester airport (ohhhhhh, ahhhhhh) : )
New currency= the pound (it's stronger than the us..1 pound= $1.72...Yikes!)
Lasagna a la Manchester (it came with tasty garlic bread- YUM!)
