"Cheers" from Scotland! Today we drove to Scotland! It was a 2+ hour drive to Scotland. Then we stopped in Glasgow at the Burrell museum. He was a shipping magnate. If he liked something he would buy it, so his collection is very diverse. It's free to the public (that's what he wanted) but they rake in quite a bit at the fantastic gift shop that is there (I did help the economy a bit). The collection was laid out and organized very nicely. He had wonderful pieces (see a few below). Then we walked down to a boarding field to see the highland cows- they're quite shaggy! They look like they could use a haircut : ) Then we had to get back on the bus. Sad we couldn't see more of Glasgow but we had to head a few hours North to our home for a couple of days- Oban. Along the way were 'brilliant' views. A lake, green hills, trees galore. Got mesmerized along the way. Oban is on a bay and is relatively small but we're using it as our base for the next couple of days. To end the evening we went to a club to here some Scottish music and see some Scottish dancing. Very cool.

Let me think....yeah this museum was super cool!
Love Degas!
I went out on a limb and had a cheese and pickle sandwich-DELICIOUS (as was the dessert)
Cute cow!
