After breakfast and a little exploring we signed up for a talk about the history of the VonTrapp family. The speaker was just great. Highly, highly recommend! Turns out I actually knew next to nothing about the REAL Von Trapp family (as opposed to the Hollywood family). He shared lots of information about the family which was super interesting. Then we got a close up few of the family graveyard. Lastly we went inside to watch a short film and got to ask questions to a Von Trapp family member. A stop at Ben and Jerry’s was of course on the itinerary. I got Stephan Cobert’s Americone dream (vanillawith chocolate covered waffle cone and caramel)and Stick Toffee cookie. YUM! Then to top it off we went to do a tasting of cider. I was willing to try it but, no surprise I didn’t find any tasty. To end we went in a short walk to a waterfall. Some other hikes up to the Von Trapp chapel but I needed to rest my ankle. Dinner soon at the beer house tonight. And tomorrow- my FAVORITE cows. I can’t wait!

I can walk on this without incident but not a paved walkway? 🤦🏻♀️
