1 day 4 states.....
Started our day leaving Texas and made it through New Mexico, Arizona and ended the day in Palm Springs, California. Lots of ground covered today! Fog/overcast/sandstorm made the window viewing not too clear. Knew when we hit Arizona because of all the cacti. Knew when we hit California because of the palm trees :)

Just so you know, someone is reading! Is that Denise Peterson you are traveling with? I grew up in CA and we traveled every 18 months to LA to see the grandparents. It took us 2.5 days and I think we drove every possible way without a/c in those days. One sandstorm ruined the paint on our car. But you've made it!
